Spring 2010
Wow! It\'s almost here. Spring is right around the corner and soon we can get down to some real serious agility training. These warm days are really inviting to get outside and get the course ready to go. If your dogs didn\'t quite stay in top shape over the winter you may want to work on that really hard at first. I know the daily walks we took every day during the winter months were a lot shorter because it was just too cold and snowy a lot of days. Those cocker spaniel legs are too short when the snow gets very deep at all. So I will start working on my dogs so they can get back in top form before I can expect them to be able to do their best.
When I updated this site last fall I asked for help from all of you readers about the skin problems my cocker spaniels were having. You sent in many helpful suggestions and I really appreciate all of the great ideas. I am happy to report that the dogs are really getting better. I tried lots of your suggestions and as I figured some of the simplest ideas seemed to work the best. Thanks so much. Dog owners are some of the best people you could ever want to know.
Let me thank all of you people that clicked on the eBay ads on this page. When you buy something on eBay after clicking on the ad from this page, even if it\\\\\\\'s something not advertised on the ads here, I get a share of eBay\\\\\\\'s fees. It doesn\\\\\\\'t cost you another cent. And when I get it, I take it to the Humane Society. Thank you all.
Many emails are asking where people can find a local agility training club or agility trainer. If you go to www.akc.org , you can do a search and find many great local clubs that are sanctioned by the AKC. If you have trouble, send me an email. I will do my best to help you find a great local club or trainer.
Thanks again for stopping by. And check out the eBay auctions for some great deals on agility training gear. If you are not registered with eBay, just click on the item you are interested in and when you try to bid, you will be guided through the very simple sign up process.
Feel free to email me with any questions and I will do my best. You can get to me by clicking on the Contact Us button on the top left of this page.
